Great excitement in the Shooter office today, when this Jack Pyke Light Leaf Concealment System ghillie suit arrived for testing and review. We dressed up Vicky in the suit and stood her against an ivy-covered wall to see how it blended in.
The colour is more suited to autumn woodland, but it's clear that the break-up effect of the sewn-on 'leaves' is fantastic. You can see the effect better in this black-and-white version - after all, most animals see in something approaching monochrome anyway.
I can't wait to get out in the woods and try it. Sadly, though, the airgun magazine team have got first dibs - so I'll have to be patient!
