Oh good grief! Some moron has shot a peregrine in Bowland, Lancs. The bird was found, unable to fly, by a member of the public visiting Grindleton Quarry, near Waddington. The x-ray shows shotgun pellets lodged in the bird's body. Lancashire Police wildlife officers are investigating.
I suppose whoever did this is, by definition, a 'shooter' - but it's not any sort of shooter I want to be associated with.
