10 ferrets stolen - reward offered

Russell Summers, who I blogged about recently, called to tell me he's had a break-in at home, and 10 of his ferrets have been stolen. He's devastated - the stolen ferrets represent 10 years of careful breeding to produce his own line of great workers, so it's a real setback for him.

Russell lives in the Cranbrook area in Kent, and is offering a cash reward for any information that leads to the recovery of his stolen ferrets. If you have any information that might help him, drop me a line at james@marchington.com, or call me on 07836 350652 and I'll pass the information on.

Since posting last time, I've saved the audio file of my interview with Russell - listen to it by clicking the 'play' button below.

Have just posted on Rabbiters.co.uk site, lets hope someone can find them!!

The more people aware, hopefully improves the ferrets chances!!

I know its a long shot, but a brief description or pickie of the ferrets may help.

Hi Chris - good point, but they're a right mixture, from all-white to dark 'polecat' colour. The ones in that photo of Russell are among the ones stolen. All the ferrets pictured in my flickr set here were nicked - but of course one ferret looks a lot like another!

...that is, apart from the pure albinos (red eyes) shown being handled by Cai.

Cheers, I've put a link to those photo's, keep us informed of any information James.
I'd hate to lose any of mine, if I ever caught someone trying, I would certainly find a new use for my electrical woodworking tools!!
